RTE Installation on Windows XP, Windows 2000 & Windows Millennium (ME)

To gain access to the Vivid Online License Tracker website you need an eToken. The eToken Runtime Environment (RTE) contains all the necessary files and components that you need for eToken to work with your computer (Drivers).

The eToken RTE installation uses the Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI), which is automatically installed with Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Millennium (ME).

How to install RTE:

  1. Download the RTE v3.65 file:
    • RTE v3.65 (4.15 Mb)
      You can copy the RTE v3.65 file and install it on other computers for use with eToken, subject to operating system requirements.
  2. Install the eToken RTE, either:
    • Double-click the downloaded rte_365.msi file
    or
    • In the Windows Start menu, select RUN. Browse to the downloaded rte_365.msi file and click OK.

Note: It is strongly recommended that when installing the new RTE 3.65, you only upgrade (INSTALL ON TOP OF) the current RTE installation and do NOT uninstall it before the new installation.
